5 OUTSTANDING MILESTONES AFFIRMING UEH’S POSITION AND MISSION IN

MILESTONE IN RESEARCH: CONNECTING REGIONAL HUMAN

Within a 5-year operation, the training scale at UEH Vinh Long has reached 3,000 learners
across various levels. Among them, 2,300 are full-time and part-time undergraduate
students; 667 are graduate students, and more than 6,000 participants attend short-term
training courses annually to enhance specialized knowledge.

Notably, the rst graduating class of UEH Vinh Long in 2024 achieved a 100% rate of
students classi ed as Good, Excellent, or Outstanding and secured employment after
graduation, re ecting the alignment between UEH Vinh Long's training programs and the
labor market demands of the region.

MILESTONE IN RESEARCH: KNOWLEDGE ADDRESSING

Alongside its mission of training regional human resources, UEH Vinh Long has made
proud contributions to scienti c research — providing knowledge to tackle contempo-
rary issues in the Mekong region over the past ve years.

Nearly 500 research projects aligned with SDGs and Mekong objectives have been pub-
lished by lecturers, sta , and students in reputable national and international journals.
This includes 148 international publications, 27 projects ranked in Scopus and WoS, 45
research projects at various levels, 225 national scienti c articles, and 52 student research
projects. Simultaneously, 22 school-level, national, and international seminars have been
successfully organized to discuss and contribute to many initiatives for the region.

MILESTONE IN INTERNATIONALIZATION: CREATING AN INTERNATIONALIZED

ENVIRONMENT FOR GLOBAL CITIZENS
Over the past ve years, UEH Vinh Long has implemented numerous international
connection and exchange activities, listed as welcoming expert delegations from the
World Bank, the U.S. Embassy in Vietnam, and the Ministry of Education and Sports of the
Lao People's Democratic Republic; engaging with 25 international student delegations

from 16 universities in countries like the U.S., the Netherlands, Switzerland, Japan, South
Korea, Thailand, Australia, Singapore, and the Philippines; and successfully organizing the
"UEH Summer Camp" student exchange program. Through these exchange and
cooperation programs, UEH Vinh Long students have had the opportunity to exchange
knowledge, culture, and skills, preparing them to integrate into the global workforce.

MILESTONE IN SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY: PROVIDING LIFELONG LEARNING RESOURCES
THROUGH THE UEH GLOBAL COMMUNITY PROJECT

The UEH Global Community Project is one of UEH's e orts to realize their social
responsibility to the community, especially in the Mekong region. UEH Vinh Long has
implemented this project by enhancing cooperation and sharing with organizations,
individuals, and units within and outside the region through meaningful activities within
the project framework, including:

A series of activities supporting high schools to improve teaching and learning quality
through the UEH Global Learning community project, providing free digital
transformation support for secondary and high schools;
