UEH PARTY COMMITTEE TERM 2020-2025

UNION ACTIVITIES

Union activities including the Union, Veterans Association, Youth Union, and Student Association,
under the leadership and direction of the UEH Party Committee, have carried out many practical
and meaningful activities. In addition to taking care of the material and spiritual life and
protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members, civil servants, and employees,
UEH Union has truly accompanied the common goals of UEH University through organizing

activities associated with the goal of sustainable development. The Youth Union and Student
Association promote volunteer movements, social activities, and programs aimed at students,
contributing to building a dynamic, creative, and socially responsible young generation of UEH. In

recognition of their contributions over years of implementation, all union activities at UEH have
been assessed by superiors as having excellently completed their tasks, and have been
commended with proud achievements as follows: Emulation Flag of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor
Federation, Certi cate of Merit from the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth
Union, Certi cate of Merit from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Student Association,

Certi cate of Merit from the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, Certi cate of Merit from the
Vietnam Education Union, Certi cate of Merit from the Ho Chi Minh City Veterans Association.

Under the close and decisive leadership of the UEH Party Committee, in general, the development
orientations and strategies set out in the Resolution of the Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term
have been concretized and e ectively implemented, bringing about many important

achievements. The UEH Party Committee has directed synchronously in all key areas. During the
implementation process, it has always closely followed the practical situation, and promptly
adjusted each plan and program to exibly and e ectively deploy tasks. This orientation has
helped UEH enhance their position to become a pioneering higher education institution, actively

contributing to the process of training high-quality human resources and meeting the
requirements of society in the knowledge economy and global integration. This is an important
premise for the entire UEH Party Committee to e ectively carry out the task of summarizing the
term and e ectively and synchronously implementing the organization of the 15th UEH Party

Congress, term 2025-2030, in accordance with the Directive 35-CT/TW on Party Congresses at all
levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party.

Facing new opportunities and challenges, with a clear development strategy and far-reaching
vision, the UEH Party Committee will continue to lead UEH University to create strong and drastic
breakthroughs. Promoting the internal strength and mettle of the entire collective, UEH is ready
to face all challenges, constantly innovate, and overcome limits to realize the aspiration of

becoming a leading multidisciplinary university in Asia, contributing to the prosperity and
sustainable development of the country in the new era - the era of the Vietnamese people's rise.
