On the occasion of the New Year of the Snake 2025, the Party Committee, University Council and
Board of Management of University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) respectfully wish all

o cials, employees, retired lecturers, alumni, students and learners a new year full of health,
happiness and success.

Dear o cials, employees, retired lecturers, alumni, students and learners of UEH!
With the stature of a Multidisciplinary and Sustainable University, the past year 2024 continued to be
impressively successful for University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) to mark the journey of

more than 48 years of formation and development with important achievements in the public higher
education system of Vietnam and the world education map.

With the tireless e orts of generations, UEH has always been a pioneer and innovator in three areas:
Education, Research and Social Responsibility - Community. In accordance with this foundation, UEH
has obtained the following proud achievements: Top 501-600 World Universities in 2025 of the Times
Higher Education (THE) Ranking; Top 650 World Universities for Sustainability according to QS World
University Ranking Sustainability 2025; Top 301+ Best Universities in Asia on the QS Asia Ranking
2024; Top 301-400 World's Leading Universities contributing to 17 Sustainable Development Goals of
the United Nations according to THE Impact Rankings 2023.

Along with that are the successes in activities and the tasks of Training, Research, Administration,
Operation, and Community Connection with positive results, these 5 development pillars in the
Multidisciplinary and Sustainable University strategy that UEH have been implementing.

With the spirit of leading change, clearly planned strategies, autonomous management thinking and
willingness to empower, along with the constant e orts of each UEHer, UEH has maintained our
inherent development momentum and a rmed our pioneering role as a national key University in
bringing Vietnamese education closer to the international level.

Carrying out our mission, UEH has always been steadfast and con dent in moving forward, ready to
reach a new vision with the mission of "Top 250 multidisciplinary and sustainable Universities in
Asia by 2030" assigned by the Party, Government, Ministry of Education and Training as well as

joining hands with the community and the world to solve social and global issues towards a bright
and prosperous future.
On the occasion of the New Year of the Snake 2025, the Party Committee, University Council, and
Board of Management of Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics call on all UEHers to promote the

spirit of dynamism, creativity and solidarity, and join hands to develop UEH according to the mission
and goals set out.
