BUILDING A GREEN AND SMART UNIVERSITY
Besides, UEH continued to expand green spaces, contributing to healthier and more harmonious
learning, working, and living environments. In 2024, UEH University added 52,345 m² of grass and
25,244 m² of trees, accounting for 30% and 15.6% of the campus area, respectively. Highlights
include the English Zone at Campus B, which integrates a dynamic English learning environment
with areas for relaxation amidst nature and natural light.
Additionally, UEH has focused on developing water drainage spaces to manage rainwater
effectively, reduce campus flooding, and ease the burden on public drainage systems.
Approximately 87,512 m² of water drainage areas, accounting for 65% of the total campus area,
further demonstrate UEH’s commitment to building sustainable, smart, and eco-friendly campuses.
UEH aims to educate a new generation of intellectuals and serves as a living
laboratory, pioneering transformation and environmental responsibility. Through
green and smart infrastructure, UEH has been creating innovative learning spaces
where people, technology, and nature converge. These efforts provide an ideal
environment for students and lecturers, inspire sustainable development, and
reaffirm UEH’s long-term commitment to building a better world./.
