The nearly half-century journey of the UEH vessel across the ocean of knowledge has been a resounding epic
of faith, aspiration, and a relentless will to reach further. From its challenging early days, when the foundations of
economics and management education were first laid, UEH has risen to become a beacon of innovation, creativity,
and sustainable development - a place that nurtures global citizens, pioneers research for the community, and acts
for the sustainable future of the nation.

These achievements did not arise by chance. They are the culmination of the intellect, dedication, and deep
professional passion of generations of leaders, lecturers, staff, and workers at UEH - individuals who have together
fostered and passed on a spirit of commitment, overcoming challenges to elevate UEH’s standing in the region and
the world.

On the eve of its 50th anniversary, and at the threshold of the next 50 years of development, this pivotal
moment marks the beginning of a transformative journey under the theme "Together We Share". This journey is
not only a call to action for a new era of ambition, but also a testament to the institution’s commitment to becoming
a multi-disciplinary, multi-field university with deep and sustainable international integration.
UEH Day 2025 serves as the inaugural event for this meaningful journey—an inspirational space where more
than 900 faculty members and staff gather to:

 Deepen their understanding of UEH’s strategic vision and new directions;
 Actively contribute ideas and solutions, defining individual and collective roles in the shared development
trajectory;
 Proudly revisit traditional values and unite in co-creating a visionary future;
 Foster a spirit of solidarity and cultivate the internal strength for a cohesive and resilient UEH community.

Most notably, the event will ignite and nurture the spirit of "One UEH." Though we come from diverse
backgrounds, we unite to form a strong collective, connected by mutual understanding, trust, and a shared
willingness to act for a multidisciplinary and sustainable UEH - where every individual is heard, respected, and
empowered to thrive.

The 3-day, 2-night journey of UEH Day 2025 has officially begun. May every moment leave a lasting impression,
and may each experience ignite motivation and inspiration as we continue to write a brilliant new chapter for UEH -
a university of the future, of sharing, and of limitless dreams.
